How will the market be marketed

Both markets are in partnership with the local councils and will feature across their events resident programs.
Residential flyer distribution for surrounding neighbourhoods up to 20,000\\Social Media Paid advertising.
Posters and flyers with local businesses.
Large Roadside electronic sign 7 days leading up to the event. On the beach promenade and in Berwick town centre.

What’s wonderful about Bourne Local sites
The parks are stunning surroundings and located in areas with a real community atmosphere. Both locations have a natural walk-through with heavy foot traffic and high turnover, ideal for spontaneous shoppers.
Do you have power?
We are afraid no power is available at any of our market sites. You are allowed to bring generators with silencers, please inform us in your application if you intend to bring a generator.
Is there parking available?

Elwood Park
Elwood Park has a car park that costs 12.50 for the day. There is free parking on the Beach road adjacent to Elwood Park from 10 am. You can also find free parking in the surrounding streets of the park.

Wilson Botanical Gardens Berwick.
We have free parking inside the Wilson Botanical Gardens for all stallholders. Parking directions will be forwarded upon a successful application.

Are dogs allowed ?

Yes, pets are allowed on site but please make sure they are always kept by your stall or on a lead.

Waste and rubbish.

Please take any trading waste away with you. The public bins are for visitors only.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

Unless we are cancelling the event due to severe bad weather the market will take place and no refunds will be issued. If you have an emergency and your circumstances have changed please contact us before 7 days of the market. If we have a waiting list and are able to accommodate, we will issue a refund or credit. Any notice less than this time will not qualify for a refund.

Market Insurance
  1. Public Liability Insurance

The following stalls will be covered under our Bourne local markets public liability Insurance, craft, jewellery, clothing, art, candles , home décor, ceramics, pets accessories. There is no need for you to submit an insurance certificate. Our  own public liability insurance is for the day of the event you are booked with us only.

The public liability does not cover theft, damage to your personal items, damage to your product, stock or equipment at the market. Our Public liability is only active when you are attending the Bourne Local market.

If a claim is made against the stall holder for public liability, an excess of $1000.00 per claim is payable by the stall holder owner.

It is in your best interest to ensure that you have product insurance if your items includes cosmetics and beauty products, candles, skincare, oils, food producers hot and cold, massages, potions, medicines as required by law.

Stalls which are excluded from our public liability and must produce their own insurance  policy with a minimum of $10,000,000 cover include, entertainment , hot and cold food, food truck of any sort and beverage stall, skincare and massage.

Stall holders’ policies must be in the same name as the stall holder applicant

All stall holders excluded from Bourne Local Public Liability Insurance must ensure they are insured for Public Liability, Personal Indemnity and Product Liability. We have a strict requirement for Public Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum of $10,000,000 cover.

A copy of the Insurance Certificate of Currency must be supplied with your  Application

It is the responsibility of the Stallholder to ensure that your Public and Products Liability Insurance Policy is renewed and remains current for the dates booked at Bourne Market
